🔹Ms. Rakchanok Thuiwiang, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 11 (OAE RO11), chaired a series of meetings to review production data for major economic crops, including rubber, oil palm (2025 production year), and major field crops for the 2025/26 crop year, namely main-season rice, first-season maize, shallot, and garlic, covering five provinces under OAE RO11’s responsibility: Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, and Mukdahan.
🔸️The meetings aimed to validate and review agricultural production data, including planted area, harvested area, standing and bearing area, newly planted and removed area, yield per hectare, and total production, together with relevant production situations in each province. The objective was to ensure that the information is accurate, complete, and truly reflects the actual conditions in the field.
The validated data will be submitted to the Northeastern Regional Working Group on Quality Improvement of Major Crop Production Statistics for further consideration and approval.
🔸️Participants included representatives from agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, such as Provincial and District Agricultural Offices, Rice Seed Centers/Rice Research Centers, the Rubber Authority of Thailand, Provincial Offices of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Office of Agricultural Extension and Development Region 4, Regional Irrigation Office 5, and officials from the Agricultural Information Section of OAE RO11, who jointly reviewed and verified the production data.
