🔸 Mr. Chantanon Wannakejohn, Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), paid a visit to the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 11 (OAE Zone 11) in Ubon Ratchathani. The visit aimed to encourage and boost the morale of the staff and personnel. Ms. Piromsri Boonthon, Acting Director of OAE Zone 11, along with her team, warmly welcomed the Secretary-General and received key policy directives.
🔹 The Secretary-General expressed concern for the staff, particularly those in survey roles, due to the ongoing situation along the border, which may affect field operations. He emphasized the following key policies:
• Ensure preparedness for any situations that may impact operations, with contingency plans in place.
• Drive practical and effective implementation in the field, particularly in provincial and regional development planning, and support area-based research initiatives such as border trade and logistics.
• Strengthen staff morale through welfare support and provide career advancement opportunities for personnel.
🔸 Additionally, the Secretary-General visited the proposed site for the construction of the new OAE Zone 11 office building, located in Rai Noi Subdistrict, Mueang District, Ubon Ratchathani Province.
