On September 30, 2025, the Office of Agricultural Economics, Region 11, Ubon Ratchathani (OAE 11), led by Ms. Rakchanok Thuiwiang, Director of OAE 11, together with the staff, attended the meeting to review the implementation of government, ministry/department, and provincial policies in Ubon Ratchathani for Fiscal Year 2025. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Phop Phusompong, Deputy Governor and Acting Governor of Ubon Ratchathani, at Phrommawanrat Conference Room, 4th Floor, Ubon Ratchathani City Hall. On this occasion, the Director of OAE 11 presented the agency’s key achievements for FY2025 as follows:

• Agricultural Information: Development of agricultural economic information systems, including data on production volumes of major economic crops in Ubon Ratchathani such as rice, cassava, rubber, and oil palm.

• Research and Evaluation:

1. Research on guidelines for developing maize production under the Large-Scale Agricultural Promotion Project in Ubon Ratchathani.

2. Study on the marginal cost of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the production of wet-season rice.

• Agricultural Economic Zone Development Plan: Study of activities under the project on development approaches to create opportunities, increase income, and promote sustainable agriculture, consisting of three activities:

1. Study on upgrading farmers to become agricultural service entrepreneurs.

2. Study on developing organic agriculture for agro-tourism.

3. Study on insurance for rubber products.

Additionally, OAE 11 presented the Agricultural Economic Situation Report for Q2/2025 and Outlook for 2025 in Ubon Ratchathani Province.
