By Athiwat Poaek on November 17, 2025
📌 The initiative covers five provinces under the office’s jurisdiction: Ubon Ratchathani, Si Sa Ket, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, and Mukdahan.
♦️ Ms. Rakchanok Thuiwiang, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 11, assigned Mrs. Siraporn Thianphothirak, Director of the Agricultural Information Division, to oversee and deploy field officers to conduct an extensive survey of rubber and oil palm production for the year 2025 within the designated areas.
The survey aims to collect comprehensive data on production volumes, production costs, and cultivation conditions. The information gathered will be analyzed to determine average yield per rai, new plantation areas, replanting or removal areas, as well as the overall production cost structure for rubber and oil palm in 2025.
✅ The primary objectives of the survey are as follows:
• 🚩 To assess actual production volumes and estimate the total production for 2025
• 🚩 To survey new cultivation areas and areas cleared or replanted
• 🚩 To collect cost-of-production data for oil palm in 2025
• 🚩 To develop a standardized database for the Unified Agricultural Data Meeting for the Northeastern Region
🌍 According to OAE Region 11, continuous data collection and field surveys are essential mechanisms for strengthening the agricultural sector. The findings from this survey will support policy planning, production management, and long-term strategies to enhance the quality and competitiveness of agricultural commodities.
