🔹 Ms. Rakchanok Thuiewiang, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics 11 (OAE 11), assigned Mr. Teerapon Ponpak, Senior Policy and Planning Analyst, to attend the Provincial Agricultural Steering Committee Meeting and the District-Level Agricultural Steering Taskforce Meeting. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Worachet Chaonuea, Yasothon Provincial Agriculture and Cooperatives Officer. The key agenda items included:

 • Preparations for the press conference to launch the 2025 “Khao Mai Pla Man” (New Rice & Rich Fish Season) in Yasothon Province

 • Development of the monthly provincial agricultural production calendar for food security and nutrition management in 2025

 • Implementation of the High-Value Agricultural Products and Services Project: One Locality, One High-Value Agricultural Product for fiscal year 2026

 • Promotion and development of biological agricultural products (herbal products)

 • Promotion of high-quality cassava varieties to enhance cassava productivity

 • Policies of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives

🔹 OAE 11 also presented the Agricultural Economic Conditions in Q3/2025 and the 2025 Outlook for Yasothon Province. The agricultural sector expanded by 0.7% compared to the same period in 2024, driven by growth in the fisheries, forestry, livestock, crops, and agricultural services sectors. The expansion resulted from farmers’ improved capacity and efficiency in farm management, aligning production with market demand. The information was shared for relevant agencies to utilize in their planning and operations.
