Ms. Rakchanok Thuiewiang, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics, Zone 11, Ubon Ratchathani (OAE 11), assigned Ms. Siraporn Thianphopphirak, Director of the Agricultural Information Division, to attend the 3/2025 meeting of the Provincial Subcommittee on Agricultural and Cooperative Development (A.P.K.) of Ubon Ratchathani Province.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Suriyan Wannawong, Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Fisheries Officer, with the objective of driving key policies of the government and the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives at the provincial level to ensure more coherence, efficiency, and prompt implementation.
🔹 During the meeting, participants jointly considered the preparation of the Monthly Provincial Agricultural Product Calendar for Food Security and Nutrition Management for the year 2025 in Ubon Ratchathani Province. The meeting also reviewed the draft order for the appointment of the Working Group on the Herbal Development Project, covering areas of raw material production promotion, product processing, and research and industrial development under the Biological Agricultural Products (Herbal) Promotion and Development Program for the fiscal year 2026.
🔹 On this occasion, the Office of Agricultural Economics, Zone 11, was assigned to serve as a member of the Working Group on the Herbal Development Project for Ubon Ratchathani Province in the area of Research and Industrial Development. The responsibilities include promoting research and knowledge development on herbal products, supporting industrial product development from herbs, coordinating with research institutes, universities, and the private sector, facilitating patent and intellectual property registration, and performing other duties as assigned. The proposed order will be submitted to the Governor of Ubon Ratchathani for official appointment.
