Ms. Rakchanok Tuiwiang, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 11 (OAE 11), assigned Mr. Theerapol Phonphak, Senior Policy and Planning Analyst, to participate in the 1st Provincial Agricultural Steering Committee Meeting for Fiscal Year 2026 of Ubon Ratchathani Province (Single Command Province: SCP).
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Nawin Pongkan, Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Agricultural and Cooperatives Officer. Key agenda items included:
• A summary of the current agricultural situation, covering crops, livestock, fisheries, and irrigation
• A report on the Thailand–Cambodia border situation
• The agricultural disaster prevention and mitigation plan during the dry season for FY 2025/26
• A progress report on the implementation of the Provincial Agricultural and Cooperatives Action Plan of Ubon Ratchathani
• A draft project on surveying and developing a database system for organic agricultural production areas and distribution channels to support traceability in Ubon Ratchathani Province
• The Rice Seed Replacement Promotion Project for Fiscal Year 2026
• Consideration of the operational plan for compiling village-level agricultural development data under the Area-Based Agricultural Data Collection Project for Fiscal Year 2026
• Consideration of adjustments to the Agricultural Production Efficiency Enhancement Learning Centers (AICs)
🎯 On this occasion, OAE Region 11 presented guidelines for upgrading farmers into agricultural service entrepreneurs in the Lower Northeastern Region Cluster, for the information and practical application of the meeting participants.
