👩💼 Ms. Rukchanok Thuiwiang, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 11 (OAE RO11), assigned Ms. Siraporn Thianphopirak, Director of the Agricultural Information Division, together with officials from the Agricultural Information Division, to participate in the Survey Meeting on Cassava Production and Trade for the 2026/27 Crop Year.
🤝 Participants included representatives from the Thai Tapioca Products Association, the Thai Tapioca Starch Association, the Northeastern Tapioca Manufacturers Association, cassava purchasing factories, local entrepreneurs, government agencies, Provincial Agricultural Offices of Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, and Mukdahan, Provincial Commerce Offices of Sisaket, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, and Mukdahan, as well as cassava growers from Ubon Ratchathani Province.
📝 The meeting was chaired by Mr. Boonchai Srichaiyongphanit, Chairman of the Cassava Production and Trade Survey Committee. During the meeting, participants received presentations on the current cassava production and trade situation from industry representatives, the Office of Agricultural Economics, and the Provincial Agricultural Offices. They also exchanged views on production conditions, market trends, and factors affecting cassava production for the 2026/27 crop year.
📊 The survey results will be compiled and analyzed to serve as supporting information on cassava production and marketing for the 2026/27 crop year. The information will be utilized by both government agencies and the private sector for planning and decision-making purposes.
