Ms. Rakchanok Thuiwiang, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics 11 (OAE11), Ubon Ratchathani, together with OAE11 officials and staff, participated in the Thai National Flag Day 2026 ceremony, including the flag-raising ceremony and the singing of the Thai National Anthem.
The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Narong Thepsena, Governor of Ubon Ratchathani Province, with heads of government agencies, representatives from various organizations, and members of the public joining the event.
The activity aimed to foster national pride and demonstrate unity and solidarity among government agencies, partner organizations, and people from all sectors. It also commemorated the royal benevolence of His Majesty King Vajiravudh (Rama VI), the “Great Scholar King,” who bestowed the Tricolor Flag as Thailand’s national flag. His Majesty graciously enacted the Flag Act, B.E. 2460 (1917), establishing the national flag with three horizontal stripes, known as the “Tricolor Flag” (Thong Trairong).
The three colors of the Thai national flag represent:
• Red – the nation and the blood and people who constitute the nation;
• White – religion; and
• Blue – the monarchy.
📍 Venue: In front of the flagpole, Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Hall, Ubon Ratchathani Province
