Ms. Rakchanok Thuiwiang, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 11, Ubon Ratchathani (OAE RO11), assigned Mr. Teerapol Phonphak, Policy and Plan Analyst, Professional Level, to attend the 2026 Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Agricultural Volunteer Committee Meeting. The meeting was chaired by Second Lieutenant Soramongkol Mongkhalasiri, Deputy Governor of Ubon Ratchathani Province.
During the meeting, OAE RO11 presented the 2026 performance results of the Agricultural Economics Volunteers (AEVs). The key activities included:
Weekly reporting of major agricultural commodity prices through the Farm Plus Price application.
Monthly reporting on the production situation of major agricultural commodities.
The annual Outstanding Agricultural Economics Volunteer Award selection.
Annual capacity-building training programs for Agricultural Economics Volunteers.
These activities aim to support the development of accurate, timely, and reliable agricultural information for planning and decision-making in the provincial agricultural sector. They also strengthen the dissemination of agricultural information and key policies of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives to farmers in local communities.
The implementation of these activities reflects OAE RO11’s commitment to enhancing the agricultural information system and strengthening the Agricultural Economics Volunteer network to better serve farmers’ needs and contribute to the sustainable development of Thailand’s agricultural sector.
